Personal Lines Account Manager

Position Overview:

  • Prepare and organize applications, related documents (MVRs, inspections), and handle remarketing for new/renewal accounts.
  • Provide rating and quoting of coverages/policies as needed.
  • Process endorsements and cancellations through communication with insureds, companies, mortgagees, and lienholders.
  • Handle client inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Maintain accurate account information for assigned book of business.
  • Receive loss information from clients and transmit it to insurance companies.
  • Solicit expiration dates and additional coverage from existing clients.
  • Review and check renewal expiration lists.
  • Stay informed on current rate manuals and new coverages/products.
  • Maintain direct communication with company underwriters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management due to changing business needs.

Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a strong understanding of industry practices and terminology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using Applied/Epic (Agency Management Software) and CSR24 (Certificate Processing Software) is a plus.
  • Current Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
